Elementary Education
Our Lady of Lourdes School strives to educate the whole child.
Elementary School is the foundation of a child’s education. Our teachers strive to ensure that each student is equipped with the building blocks of a solid education and are prepared to succeed in Middle School and beyond. Learn more about what happens in our Grade 1 – 4 classrooms below.
In the Classroom
Typical Class Size

Spiritually
Daily Morning Prayer, active participation in school Liturgies, and monthly community service opportunities help students develop a relationship with God.
Academically
Rigorous curriculum based on the Fall River Diocesan Guidelines and Massachusetts Frameworks.
Socially
Students learn how to properly interact with peers and adults. Social skills training begins in Pre-K and continues through Grade 4.
Emotionally
The dignity of each child is respected and we seek to assist them in reaching their God-given potential.
Weekly
Technology, Art, Music, Library, and Physical Education classes taught by a specialist. Students also attend weekly Mass with prayer buddies.
