Welcome to 5th Grade!

In the fifth grade, you will build on the skills you developed in foruth grade and you will continue to study many of the same subjects at a higher level.  You will grow academically, emotionally and socially during this year.  More time will be spent working independently and you will be expected to take more responsibility as you begin your transition to middle school.  There are many fun individual and group projects designed to allow you to show your creativity as well as traditional seat work.

I am looking forward to being your teacher and working with you this year.
