Kindergarten - Grade 5 Information

Elementary school is a fun and challenging time for your child.  It’s a time to build friendships and discover new subjects and special interests. In all subjects, the school adheres to the Diocese of Fall River curriculum standards.  Our curriculum blends education in math, reading, spelling, language arts, technology, art, music and social studies with faith, morals and service to others.  In grades preschool through grade five your child will be observed by the teacher and will be placed in a level that is appropriate to your child’s learning style and progress. 

Mathematics is taught in this manner.  Beginning with basic arithmetic and moving to geometry and basic algebra.  Science is generally taught to the entire class.  In grades 4 and 5  all children are expected to participate in the school’s annual science fair.  Your child will also have regularly scheduled physical education and technology classes.
